These one day introductory courses are taking place in September and October 2013 at John Eccles House, Robert Robertson Ave, Oxford, OX4 4GP.
These GIS training course will cover all the main features of QGIS. During each training day exercises will cover the user interface, file and data management, map navigation and use of drawing tools. There will also be opportunities to create and modify symbols, points, lines, polygons and text. The course will also cover use of selection tools to analyse data as well as performing simple SQL queries. Additionally the courses will show how to create thematic maps from attribute data and how to create and print maps via a layout window.
